Privacy Policy

Pixxxel collects no data. There's no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server we run — so there's nothing for us to gather, store, or share.

What stays on your Mac

• Your API key is stored in the macOS Keychain.
• Your generated characters and the trait prompts that made them are saved locally inside the app, on your device.

None of this is sent to us. Pixxxel has no backend to send it to.

Third-party AI providers

When you generate a character, the prompt Pixxxel builds from your traits — and your API key — are sent directly from your Mac to the AI provider you chose. Pixxxel is not in the middle and never receives this data. That request is governed by your provider's own privacy policy:

• Google (Gemini, Imagen & Nano Banana Pro)
• OpenAI (GPT Image)
• Hugging Face (FLUX, SDXL, SD 3)

Before your first generation with a given provider, Pixxxel asks for your explicit consent and names that provider.

What we never do

We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone — there is none to sell. The app itself uses no third-party analytics or advertising, matching Pixxxel's “Data Not Collected” label on the App Store. This website (pixxxel.app) uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that counts anonymous, aggregate page views — never personal data.
